“And Then There Were”
by Vivien Dean

Corralled with some of the best hunters in the world, Ryan comes face to face with the woman who saved his life a decade earlier. Tala Mamola is beautiful, deadly, and the object of his hero worship. Together, they must figure out a way to break the spell trapping them in the station, or together, they will die.

Katerina is a mother to a gaggle of orphans, and if she doesn’t keep paying City Officials they’ll take her children to the Salt Mines. When Doc corners Katerina during a shipment, he comes up with a solution that might help them both. Get married. At least he thought that would be a solution.
“Railroad Standard Time”
by Philippa Grey-Gerou
“Beneath the Surface”
by Cat Johnson
A secret lies deep below the streets of New York and it is Rick Jones’ task to discover it. But who he encounters inside Grand Central Terminal is far more intriguing than what he was hired to find, that being Beth, the smart, sexy and slightly socially-awkward conservation expert more concerned with preserving history than creating her own. Rick is a determined man, but can he both solve the mystery as well as free the sexual creature he is sure Beth is hiding just beneath the surface?
SCORPION’S ORCHID by Eva Gale
Eva Gale presents a bleak future full of glimpses of hope with this tale. Plants are illegal, religion has basically been abolished and some youth have been mutating into giant spiders. OK as an official spider-hater I admit that was enough to horrify me, but plants being illegal? Religion abolished? There’s something wrong with a society where beauty and hope have been taken away. Fortunately there are people like Martin and Katerina who refuse to give up their beliefs. 5 Blue Ribbons from Romance Junkies!
Four mistresses of erotic romance present a collection of tales destined to get pulses racing. Sexy psychics offer delectable divination in the past, present, and future.
KING OF SWORDS – Biana D’Arc: Sparks ignite when a psychic meets a special ops warrior aboard a space station. When enemies attack, will close quarters and danger draw them together?
TEMPTING FATE – Eva Gale: An up-and-coming banker falls for the town palm reader. She might be breathtaking, but a spinster from a notorious psychic family is hardly the career boost he wanted.
MIRANDA WRITES – Cassidy Kent: A novelist becomes a fortune-teller for book research. When an FBI agent mistakes her for a counterfeiter, danger and romance ensue. Will she meet her deadline… or wind up just plain dead?
FLESH AND BONE – Selah March: Tortured by a sadistic murderess, a detective may suffer an agonizing death. Only a local psychic can find him, but will she save him? Or be caught in evil’s web?
Hand of Fate by Eva Gale was a wonderful period piece set in 1880 Boston. Gale tells a story of an unlikely couple who have more in common than they first expect. Caden carelessly insults Abigail at their first meeting, and Abigail in turn abuses her powers by giving him a very different sort of palm reading. When Abigail shows up at his office to apologize, sparks fly again, but with a very different result… Caden is a man who will at first irk you to no end, and then turn right around and charm your socks off, much like he did with Abigail. Indeed, it is the Abigail’s disbelief that someone from the upper class could ever want to marry a woman with her social standing that keeps this couple apart for as long as they are. But men like Caden don’t rise to the top without a fair amount of grit and determination, and he uses every bit of it in his bid to win Abigail’s hand. Kwips and Kritiques ~5 Klovers
Hand of Fate is a charming tale of a girl who wishes to break from the hold of her mother’s reigns so to speak. Abigail feels she is living in a freak show. I found her strong on the inside but afraid to step out of her shell. It was sad watching the characters be something that they were not. Ms. Gale shows that with just a bit of perseverance that things often work out for those, especially in love.
Fortune’s Fool is a stirring selection of stories that lend great creativity between four talented authors. Each character has an individualism that stands out and brings a certain aura to the storyline. I found the themes cleverly created and look forward to more pleasant tales from these amazing storytellers.
5 Cups of Coffee from Coffeetime Romance
I could not get enough of Caden and his careless attitude. The verbal sparring between himand Abby made my reading very interesting. I certainly did not mind the increased sexual activity. Caden and Abby caused sparks to fly from mydesktop. However, I could not stop reading for a toy break because I so
wanted to know how the couple would deal with their difference in station. I related to both of the characters on many levels. 4/5 Star, Suni Farrar JERR
